Healing and Word of Knowledge in Carl's Jr.
Today something awesome happened. This morning at the office, my right index finger tingled briefly and I knew it was a word of knowledge for somebody that I was going to meet today.
While I was on lunch from work, I went to Carl's Jr. to get something to eat, and as I was finishing up my sandwich, a guy walked in with a t-shirt on that had an emblem/logo on the front that looked like a pentagram (5 pointed star with a circle around it, pointing down). It caught my attention because of the open vision I had 10 years ago when I met the Lord...except in my vision, the star was pointed up. So as I was leaving, I asked him what the star on his shirt meant. He told me it was a logo for a skate clothing company. I told him that it caught my attention because of a vision I had where I saw a star like that.
I walked out of Carl's Jr. and got into my car, and started feeling Holy Spirit strongly urging me to go back inside and ask him if he had pain in his right index finger. I was pulling out of the parking lot about to leave, and decided to park again to go back in. So I did. I walked in, and went back up to the guy, and said to him, "This might be weird. I felt like I was supposed to come back in here and ask you if you happened to have pain in your right index finger. My right index finger was tingling earlier. Do you have pain there?" And as I was saying that, I looked down at his hand, and sure enough, his index finger was injured! It had a little gash on it! He said, "Yeah I actually hurt it 2 weeks ago playing pool and messed it up, and I really need it to get better so I can work better because I do car detailing."
I was so full of faith and excited because I had heard right about the word of knowledge and felt the love of God filling my spirit for him. I sat down and introduced myself. His name was Jeremy. I asked him if I can pray for him, and he said yeah because he needs his finger to be better! So I put my fingers on his, and invited God. The first time, nothing happened. Then I shared with Jeremy about the story of Francisco in Mexico City who got healed of tunnel vision after 8 times of us praying, and that sometimes we need to pray again. So I prayed for him again. This time, I started feeling tingling in my hands, and I asked him if he was feeling that tingling. He said, "Yeah I am." He looked kind of surprised. But at the same time I could feel that he had faith for healing.
I stopped praying and asked him how it felt. He started moving it, and he said that he could move it now without any pain! I asked him if he could do that before without pain? No, he said! But now Jeremy was moving his finger without any pain!! Oh I love Jesus. He told me that I was the 2nd person in a month that had been sent his way to tell him about God, and he thinks that God is trying to get his attention. He also said that he has a relationship with God, even though he doesn't go to church. I could sense that he has a connection with God, but that the Lord wants to draw him deeper. I asked him if he's received Jesus in his life. He said yes. Several times.
It gives me so much joy to see God touch people, especially people who are open to Him like Jeremy was. I love You so much Jesus.
