Knee Healed and 2 Guys Meet Jesus in the Mall!

Ken Gattes, Stephen Cowazos, Sean Cox, and I went to Shasta Mall Friday night (1/18) to pray for the sick and prophesy over people.

Stephen and Sean struck up conversations with a couple high school aged guys, and prophesied over them, and one guy got touched by the tangible presence of God.

Meanwhile, Ken and I were talking to each other and all of a sudden in the corner of my eye I saw a guy walking towards us with a cane. I immediately turned around to him, and asked him if we could pray for him and I asked him what was wrong. He's a high school football player, and he messed up his left knee while playing, and so he had to walk with a cane, and he was limping. I asked him if we could pray for him, but he and his friend who he was with were both skeptical and he wasn't really open to it.

I then started sharing with him (Derrill) about the lady in the plane getting healed last year from a torn up knee from a car accident. Then I told him that he doesn't have anything to lose. So he gave in! Yay God. Ken and I laid hands on his knee, and invited Holy Spirit to come. We prayed no more that 30 seconds, and Ken asked him how he was feeling. I will never forget the look on his face! He was shocked, and he said it's better! All the pain is gone! We were all elated.

Derrill said the pain was about a 7 or 7.5, but now the pain is 0! Next thing I know, Sean and Stephen come up. I shared with Derrill about how Jesus transformed my life and how He's real, and Sean started sharing his testimony with both Derrill and Shane (Derrill's friend). Sean shared with them how Jesus healed him of seizures 4 years ago. I looked over at Shane and the look on his face was kind of like shock but also he was hanging on every word we said, especially after he saw that his friend's knee just got healed!! Sean led both of them to the Lord, and we got Derrill's phone number to follow up with him. The Lord totally showed up and rocked them both! Derrill is supposed to see the doctors today, and I'm anxious to hear what they say!

Tracy Healed of Gangrene!

When I was back home in NC over Christmas, the Saturday before I left, I got to pray for Tracy who used to be in Mom and Dad's small group.

She has had lots of health problems, and she's only in her early 40s. This most recent episode of problems came about because of circulation complications in her left leg, which was due to a blood clot I believe. Circulation in her leg decreased, and gangrene set in. It got so bad that they needed to amputate her leg. The gangrene had already from the backside of her calf all the way down to her foot.

She had absolutely no feeling in her leg at all, to the point that they performed an operation on her the day before I went to pray for her in the hospital...they literally cut out her Achilles heel/tendon without the use of anesthetics. I went to Carolinas Medical Center to pray for her, along with Eunice and Andy Morris. When we got into her room, I saw a woman who was suffering but yet full of faith in God and joy on her face. She told the doctors that she believed God was going to heal her! Come on! I encouraged Tracy and shared with her the testimony of Janice from the plane healing back last March. I laid my hands on her leg right beside of where the gangrene was, and I began to invite Holy Spirit to come. I began to feel waves of tingling and electricity going out of my hands into her leg, and we all prayed over her for about an hour. At one point I asked her if she felt anything while we prayed. Tracy started explaining how she had no feeling at all in her leg, but that while we prayed, she felt jolts of electricity shooting up and down her leg in the core of it! I started getting really excited. She went on to say that this is amazing because the doctors had told her that in order for the gangrene to be healed, it had to heal from the inside-out. Holy Spirit was touching her big time!

Tracy was in tears after we prayed, so touched by the fact that we would come up and take the time to pray over her. And the love of God just was washing over her.

I got back to Redding 2 days later, and later last week, on 1/13, I got a text from Mom, and she told me to call her ASAP. So I did. She began to report to me that ever since we prayed over Tracy, there had been miraculous healing taking place! I called Tracy in her hospital room to hear exactly what was going on. Come to find out, the doctors had examined her leg either the day after or 2 days after we prayed over her, and they couldn't find a trace of ANY gangrene! Not only that, but the doctors just the week before were ready to amputate her leg because the gangrene and dead tissue was spreading, and they were worried that if they didn't amputate, then it would spread to the rest of her body. Upon examination of the leg, there is not only NO gangrene, or infection, but the dead tissue was NOT spreading! In fact, there was new pink tissue forming in the very area of where the gangrene was!! Tracy said that there is no known antibiotic that can cure gangrene, and the week before we prayed, the tissue was deteriorating so quickly that every day there was more dead tissue, but now there's not any dead tissue! She said there's no infection left, and that it's all moving in the correct direction. What a contrast from the week before, when the doctors were saying it was hopeless.

They also checked Tracy's white blood cell count, and it went from 67,000 to 28,000. The lower the number, the better, because the infection has gone away. Also, she recently had a kidney transplant, and it was acting up. She experienced some healing in her kidney too, and her levels went from 2.8 to 2.0.

Just this week, the doctors did a skin graft on the area of her leg where the gangrene was. This is huge because you can't do a skin graft on dead tissue. This means that the leg has come back alive again! Yay Jesus You're so awesome! Tracy told me that she now feels a peace that she's never had before.
