Knee Healed and 2 Guys Meet Jesus in the Mall!
Ken Gattes, Stephen Cowazos, Sean Cox, and I went to Shasta Mall Friday night (1/18) to pray for the sick and prophesy over people.
Stephen and Sean struck up conversations with a couple high school aged guys, and prophesied over them, and one guy got touched by the tangible presence of God.
Meanwhile, Ken and I were talking to each other and all of a sudden in the corner of my eye I saw a guy walking towards us with a cane. I immediately turned around to him, and asked him if we could pray for him and I asked him what was wrong. He's a high school football player, and he messed up his left knee while playing, and so he had to walk with a cane, and he was limping. I asked him if we could pray for him, but he and his friend who he was with were both skeptical and he wasn't really open to it.
I then started sharing with him (Derrill) about the lady in the plane getting healed last year from a torn up knee from a car accident. Then I told him that he doesn't have anything to lose. So he gave in! Yay God. Ken and I laid hands on his knee, and invited Holy Spirit to come. We prayed no more that 30 seconds, and Ken asked him how he was feeling. I will never forget the look on his face! He was shocked, and he said it's better! All the pain is gone! We were all elated.
Derrill said the pain was about a 7 or 7.5, but now the pain is 0! Next thing I know, Sean and Stephen come up. I shared with Derrill about how Jesus transformed my life and how He's real, and Sean started sharing his testimony with both Derrill and Shane (Derrill's friend). Sean shared with them how Jesus healed him of seizures 4 years ago. I looked over at Shane and the look on his face was kind of like shock but also he was hanging on every word we said, especially after he saw that his friend's knee just got healed!! Sean led both of them to the Lord, and we got Derrill's phone number to follow up with him. The Lord totally showed up and rocked them both! Derrill is supposed to see the doctors today, and I'm anxious to hear what they say!
