Lady Touched In Olive Garden

Today Dad and Mom and I went out to lunch at Olive Garden, and as we were finishing up, I heard the lady behind us telling the waitress that she had cancer.

My ears perked up when I heard the word "cancer," so I turned around and asked her what kind of cancer it was that she has. She said some series of words I can't pronounce, something about Displaced cancer or something, not sure exactly what. Her name is Linda, and she went into detail about her disease, and went on to describe how she was poisoned which severely affected her health. As Linda was talking, I began to feel the presence of the Holy Spirit and I felt faith arising in my spirit to see God touch her. I told her about how I've seen healings happen right before my eyes, and about how we hear of people healed every week from cancer at Bethel. I told her about how the lady (Janice) got a new knee on the plane back in March, and was healed of the car accident she was in 4 years ago. And I told her that I believe that God will touch her right now when we pray.

Linda was full of faith. She told us how she's seen angels before, and that she has the gift of prophecy, exhortation, faith, etc. There's no doubt she was full of faith for healing! So I told her that I was feeling the presence of the Holy Spirit on me as she was talking, and I asked her if we could pray for her. She was all about it.

We went to the entrance of the restaurant, and we laid hands on her and invited the Holy Spirit to come. I felt tingling in my hands, and I felt the Presence on my head. I commanded cancer to die in Jesus' name and for new cells to form. One thing Linda had told us is that the cancer affected her white blood cell systems. I commanded healing in that area.

When we got through praying, Linda said she felt a hand on her head and something go through her whole body! (Our hands weren't on her head, so that was probably an angel touching her!) Come on Jesus! We got her phone number to keep in touch with her and to find out what the next doctor report will say. I believe that God is healing her right now.

Healing of Foot

Thursday we went to outreach, and I was still filled with the presence.

I was with Ryan Taylor and Paul from England. We were giving out Christmas presents, and we walked up on a few people who were hanging out beside an apartment building. We got to talking to them...the lady's name is Regina, and there were 2 other men there. I asked her if there was anything she needed prayer for, and she said she needs more faith. Kind of a general answer that I know she was sincere about, but I wasn't satisfied. I looked down and saw that she was wearing a foot/leg brace on her right leg, and I got excited because I had no doubt in my mind that whatever was wrong with her foot, it was about to get healed!! Come on Daddy! We asked Regina what was wrong with her foot, and she said that she had torn ligaments and a cyst on her ankle. She said she's supposed to go have surgery on it. We asked if we could pray for her and lay hands on her. Before we prayed, I shared with her the story of Janice getting healed on the plane back in March from being in a car accident, and how her knee, neck, and wrist were all healed in a period of 45 minutes on that flight. Regina told me that it was hard for her to believe that, but she was still open for prayer.

We started praying for her, invited Holy Spirit to come. I felt the presence of Holy Spirit in my hands, as I usually do when I pray for people for healing. It was all out of rest, and quiet confidence that a miracle was in progress. Come on! All 3 of us laid hands on her foot. As we were praying, I felt electricity going out of my hands into her foot. I told Regina that the presence of God was entering her foot like electricity. She started saying that God is amazing. I asked her what's going on in her foot? She said she was feeling tingling! She started telling people nearby that she didn't even believe God would do this, but that she was being proved wrong!!! Meanwhile, we're all still praying, and I'm all happy inside because of what Daddy is doing! Oh God.

We stopped praying, to find out what was happening in her foot. She was feeling tingling, but there was still pain. So we prayed for her again. After praying that time, she had absolutely NO pain! I asked her how bad the pain was from 0 to 10 (0 being no pain and 10 being worst), and she said it was a 10. After praying, it was 0 pain! Wow.

Ryan had some words of encouragement for her about the love of God too which was powerful.

We prayed again for Regina, this time to release the peace and presence of God over her life, and for her sore throat. She felt the peace and presence of God come over her, and she was able to clear her throat for the first time in a while! She's supposed to go in for surgery in early January, and I look forward to hearing the report the doctor is going to give of what God did in this healing!

After that, we went to visit Granny, had a great visit. Long story short, we got to pray for her leg again. She still isn't wearing her foot/leg brace, and she's still able to get out of the wheelchair without help and walk around! Yay God. But she said that her foot was swollen and her leg is still kind of paralyzed. So we prayed over her leg, and released the presence of God, and Granny said it felt like her blood vessels in her leg had been not circulating blood before we prayed. But as we prayed, she started feeling the blood circulate into her leg! Granny said that she feels the Holy Spirit linger in her house every time we come to visit her, like an hour after we leave. It was such an awesome visit, and the progressive healing of God is happening in her! Yay God.

What's Happening in Redding?

Hey friends and family,

Merry Christmas and much love to you from Redding, California! It's been awhile since I've written an update about what's going on in my life out here in CA since I came out west in early September.

I'm living in Redding, in Northern California, and I'm in an amazing ministry school called Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry, based out of Bethel Church (www.ibethel.org). I first came out here to Bethel about a year an a half ago to a conference and had a life-changing encounter with the Holy Spirit that significantly affected me in the area of seeing the sick healed, especially when I was living in France. Bethel's mission is to equip and deploy revivalists (people who carry the fire of God in them) who passionately pursue worldwide transformation in their God-given spheres of influence. In plain English, what that means is to see the will of God done on earth as it is in heaven.

I decided to pursue the Bethel School of Ministry, which started in September, and goes through May, and have really been experiencing major transformation and greater freedom in my own life, and rediscovering how real God is! It's such a privilege and exciting place to be. The leaders of Bethel are empowering and are really like mothers and fathers who champion the students in our dreams that the Lord has given us. I'm learning so much about how we are built and wired to co-labor with God, and not to be driven from a servant's mentality that receives orders from the "boss"; but instead we are sons and daughters of a Father who dreams with us.

There's about 500 first-year students and about 200 second-year students here at the school, and a smaller group of third-year students. I love the community of people here...authentic and genuine, but at the same time so hungry and desperate for more of God. It's a common thing to hear stories almost daily of Bethel people praying for people who are sick in malls, restaurants, businesses, and healing is a normal part of everyday life around here. Just about every week, we hear testimonies of Jesus completely healing people from cancer. We're wired and created to walk in the supernatural as we follow Jesus. The gospel is good news, and Jesus commissioned us to be carriers of His tangible presence that actually does transform people and cities.

One thing I love about Bethel is that it is a place where the grace of God is foundational. What I mean is, a good part of what we are doing in school is encountering Daddy's love that frees us to be who we are. I find that walls and hurts in my own heart are coming down and getting healed because of that environment of grace, love, and acceptance.

I want to share a brief story about a lady that several of us have been spending time with, named Granny. We adopted a neighborhood in Redding--this neighborhood is known to have a good bit of drug activity and other crime. We had the privilege of meeting Granny, who's like the neighborhood grandmother. She had a stroke 16 years ago and is in a wheelchair. She knows Jesus and believes in Him. So we asked her if we could pray for healing...her left leg has been paralyzed from the stroke, and she wears a brace on her left foot. She was happy to have us pray for her. As we laid hands on Granny and invited Holy Spirit to come, she started feeling a sensation of heat go down her whole leg. And her foot started twitching, which is amazing because that whole leg was paralyzed! Granny started getting excited. So we asked her if she'd be willing to take her brace off and get up out of the wheelchair and walk a little. She didn't want to take off her brace, but she did get up and she said there was less pain! Granny promised us that the next week she'd get up and walk WITHOUT the brace. Sure enough, the following week, Granny stood up out of her wheelchair and walked around some without her brace on! There is a progressive healing that Jesus is doing in her! Come on.

I love to see people touched by God. It reminds me on a firsthand level that God is really real and that He really is ready to love on people.

Another part of what is happening this year with the school is a short missions trip. There are quite a few teams going out all over the world, and I'll be going with a team of 40 people to Mexico City in April for about 11 days. We will be ministering in partnership with one of the fastest growing churches in Mexico. Our team will be involved in organizing and running a three day Youth Encounter event, to inspire and train teens through supernatural worship, evangelism, discipleship, and street encounters. Our team will also be ministering in 5 local churches through healing, the prophetic, teaching and preaching ministries. Our team will also be involved with community outreaches, such as praying for the sick in hospitals, being a part of a "dumpster" ministry and possibly helping to start a new ministry to the homeless.

I'm trusting and believing God for Him to provide all I need financially for this school year, both for tuition costs, the missions trip, rent, etc. The school costs $3,200 for the year, and I've been able to pay $900 towards that already, yay God. That leaves about $2,300 left for tuition. The trip to Mexico will cost $1,000, and the airfare has to be purchased on January 30th. Lots of you have been really generous financially in investing in the ministry I've been involved in over the past few years, and I am so appreciative and thankful for that. Not one bit of this would have been possible if it weren't for your generosity. Thanks!! If you would like to help out with either the missions trip or tuition for the school of ministry, I will give you that information at the end of the email.

I want to thank you again so much for your generosity! Much love to you from Redding,

Adam
