In Redding, California

Hey friends and family,

It's been a while since I've written an update since leaving Africa at the end of August.

Thanks so much for y'alls continued support, prayer and financial...coming back to the USA was very necessary for me so I could be restored, renewed, and revived in my relationship with Jesus after a difficult season in Africa. The Lord has done so much to bring lots of healing and freedom to my heart already in the past month as I've spent the month of September in Washington State with my best friend Tyler who just got married a couple weeks ago. I got to be his best man! It was such an honor.

During my time in Washington, I spent a lot of time with a new Mom and Dad (Marc and Lydia Buchheit) in the Lord that God has given me...they have poured into me, loved me unconditionally, and walked me through a lot of restoration and freedom in the Spirit. It has been an amazing time. The Lord promised me before I left Africa that He will restore, rebuild, revive, renew, and revitalize my heart and all that the enemy has stolen from me. We also went to the Spiritual Hunger Conference with Heidi Baker and Cal Pierce...being in the presence of the Holy Spirit with 5,000 other people was incredible.

While in Washington, I began seeking the Lord about an opportunity that came up all of a sudden with Bethel Church in Redding, California. They have a school called the Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry that's all about walking in the power of the Holy Spirit in regular, everyday life. Not just that, but it is a place where I've had encounters with the Lord in the past couple years in life-changing ways. So I started asking the Lord if He wanted me to do this school, and I really believe Jesus led me to go to the school! Tyler and Christine (his new wife) are also doing the school this year, and though this feels like a spur of the moment decision for me to do this, I am confident that it's what the Lord has for me this coming 9 months or so.

One of the things that I'm really excited about in this community of people is the atmosphere of grace that they cultivate. It's an environment where you know that you are "allowed" to fail and make mistakes when you step out to minister to somebody.

So we have just arrived in Redding to start the school (if you want to find out more about Bethel, you can go to www.ibethel.org). We drove down to CA from Washington, and I got a really good deal on a 1991 Toyota Corolla to drive down here. $525. I was stoked!

The Bethel school runs through May.

I will continue to receive support through All Nations as before, if you still would like to continue supporting me. The cost of the school is $3,200 for the year, and I plan on finding a job to help with all the expenses too.

I'm so thankful for your love and support.

Before I finish I want to share a testimony of Jesus healing a friend of Marc and Lydia's named Faith. Marc and Lydia lead a ministry called The Healing Rooms (go to www.healingtheNW.com or www.healingrooms.com), and one night about a week and a half ago, we all gathered to pray to ask the Lord to speak to us specifically about the sicknesses that people need healing from that night. The way it works is people come to receive prayer for healing of sickness and any other bondage they need to be freed from. While we were praying, I heard the Lord say "sculiosis." I mentioned it to the group that I heard the Lord speak that. Well after we finished praying for people that night, I found out that in the other room down the hall, a girl named Faith came to get prayer for healing from sculiosis! I didn't even know about that until after we finished. And Jesus healed her completely! Her back was curved, but now it's straight like it's supposed to be. This is everyday, normal life of walking with Jesus. When we speak to people the good news of Jesus, the Lord promises that it will be accompanied by signs and wonders to demonstrate that Jesus is really the only God!

Thanks again so much for your friendships and support, it means the world to me. Jesus I ask that You will abundantly bless and pour out provision and Your goodness on every person who has sowed into my life by praying for me and giving to me.

Love,
Adam
