Prayer Needs
Friends and family:
Thanks so much as usual for your support and prayer for me and the team and the people here in Côte d'Ivoire. I'm writing to share some really important needs we have as a team and community at the moment here.
*First and foremost, intimacy with Jesus. I want Him more than anything.
*Late Sunday nite, Constance (Abel's sister who has been living with us for about a month now)...who was in the late stages of AIDS, had a major attack spiritually and in her health, we warred in prayer over her, then carried her out to get a taxi to go to the hospital. The doctor said she had an hour to live unless we got her blood ASAP. We got 3 pouches of blood, they started the transfusion. But about 15 minutes later Maria and I went back into the hospital room, and Maria said, "She's not breathing!" I ran to get the doctor, and told him "She's not breathing!" She died. This has been a major blow to all of us. We did all we could, spiritually and medically, and interceded on her behalf calling on Jesus. I thank Jesus that 2 months ago, Constance accepted Jesus. Please pray for us as a team, pray for Abel especially and the whole family.
*The Lord has opened doors for 3 pieces of land to build on. One piece of land for a church building/medical clinic, one piece of land for a prayer/fasting center with rooms for people to stay in to pray and fast when needed. A third piece of land for an orphanage. We're asking Jesus for the provision for all these projects that He's spoken to us about to pursue. Please pray for that too.
*Please pray for us to have Jesus' heart for the people here. We need endurance, strength from the Spirit of God. Daily we're around suffering and it's exhausting. Thank Jesus so much for the people who are getting healed, delivered and saved. The other night I was privileged to lead a young guy named Carlos to the Lord, he's 14 and loves to draw comics.
*Thank Jesus for His provision through y'all for this food project we've got going. The Lord spoke to us to stock 50lb bags of rice and onions in the house to distribute to families in our church community as the Lord leads us. I think it's my favorite thing to do here besides worship the Lord...giving food to the poor. We need the Lord's wisdom on knowing how to steward this food.
*We need Holy Spirit protection at all times...as we are combatting the enemy and fighting for the Kingdom of God to advance here.
Thanks so so much. I worship God for the family He's given me back home and elsewhere who is supporting me in what Jesus has called me to. I'm so thankful.
Love from Côte d'Ivoire,
Adam
